Players / Officials Code of Conduct

 

• Play by the rules - the rules of your club, the SSMBF, and the laws of the game.

• Respect and follow the directions of coaching staff, management, match and club officials.

 

• Treat all players / officials with respect as you would want them to treat you.

 

• Act respectfully towards match officials at all times. Abusive language is unacceptable.

 

• Avoid individual or collective behaviour which may reasonably be held by players / officials / spectators to be offensive.

 

• Abide by the rules and regulations and the competition rules of the SSMBF.

 

• Do not turn up for play for SSMBF matches the worse for wear through alcohol or drugs.

 

• Behaviour over an International or Scottish Championship weekend should be exemplary and NO PERSON should act in a manner which may show the SSMBF in a negative light. Failure to comply could lead to removal / expulsion / suspension as seen fit by the SSMBF.

 

• Do not use remarks based on race, religion, gender, or ability as any such comments are offensive and it is your SSMBF officials, team mates, club, family and family friends who are let down by such remarks.
