We have recently had several players pass their tests to become umpires, boosting the number of qualified umpires we have around Scotland, so congratulations to:

Anyone else wishing to become an umpire should contact our Umpire Co-ordinator to express their interest and make arrangements.  To qualify as an umpire you will be given a written test which you can study and return to the Umpire Co-ordinator. If you show sufficient understanding of the rules, you will then have a practical test and an oral test. These will usually be arranged to take place during one or other of the two Scottish Championship weekends (Dumfries and Stonehaven).
